Kolber was born in Pennsylvania has earned her master's education at the University of Miami. Kolber began her career with CBS Sports New York City in the role of video coordinator. She won a Local Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV located in Miami. She worked at WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She was selected to anchor ESPN2 from 1993. The station was her home for ESPN2 over the next three years before leaving it for Fox Sports. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN and currently serves as the host for "Monday Night Countdown".
